DONUT – The CMIT Newsletter

'Donut' is the official newsletter from the Club of Mathematics, IISER Thiruvanathapuram. This is a platform to host interesting expository articles from diverse fields of mathematics, news from the latest at CMIT and math community, as well as recreational mathematics, tidbits, problems, and games — all packed in a visually creative flow. Donut is also a medium to develop an interactive community for exchange of mathematical interests. To get updates about future issues, subscribe to our newsletter on the home page.

Our first dark-paged magazine ever! Designed as an experiment, since we acknowledge all the nocturnal readers out there, this issue is a special one as we celebrate the Seventh Foundation Anniversary of CMIT, highlighted by a big hand-painted donut, depicted on our cover page. We know we are out of schedule, but we are hoping to get right on track with the upcoming issues.

In this edition, we cover all the events we usually cover, which includes Pi-week celebrations, Frontier Symposium '25, and Anvesha projects too! This is an overall exciting version, both to the designers, and hopefully to the readers as well.

We hope you enjoy this issue and appreciate your patience and support. We value your feedback and submissions for future editions.
