Donut — The CMIT Newsletter.



'Donut' is the official newsletter from the Club of Mathematics, IISER Thiruvanathapuram. This is a platform to host interesting expository articles from diverse fields of mathematics, news from the latest at CMIT and math community, as well as recreational mathematics, tidbits, problems, and games — all packed in a visually creative flow. After a brief hiatus of 1.5 years, we are thrilled to bring you the fourth edition of our quarterly newsletter, Donut! This issue is special as we celebrate the Fifth Foundation Anniversary of CMIT, highlighted by a major breakthrough with Ramsey's theorem R(3,3) = 6, depicted on our cover page.

In this edition, we cover exciting new events such as the Pi Week celebrations, including Pi-oximity, Pi-uiz 5.0, and the Marble Sliding Competition, along with insights from Frontier Symposium '24.
